After Party
We find it a lot of fun to have a very low-key “after party” once the reunion is over and you are welcome to come with your dog(s) to hang out with us. We usually order some food for take-out and have beer, wine, soft drinks, and water on hand (feel free to BYO if you have specific preferences). We’ve used the Motel 6 on Linda Lane in Harrisonburg because they’re extremely pet friendly, have “hardwood” vinyl floors, and the rooms open to the parking lot. However, the motel has been bought by Howard Johnson now. They also are pet friendly but there’s a small pet fee. We booked our rooms there, but we’ll have to see how it goes this year.
The Comfort Inn, Days Inn, and Hotel Madison also accept pets.
