One of the most common reasons for dogs to end up in shelters or returned to breeders is that it was simply the wrong choice for the family. Save yourself time, heartache, and expense by learning all you can about whippets before you start to look for one. Visit some in their homes (join email lists and ask where you can meet whippets!) and talk to owners. They're great dogs, but not suitable for everyone!
