Considering a Whippet?

Appraxin Kamikaze -- Chase

Consider bringing home a senior rescue whippet. These older dogs are often the easiest to manage, the most appreciative, and need lots of love in their final years. There's no better way to learn about whippets and decide if this is really the breed for you than to live with one for awhile, and a senior, after all, is not the long-term commitment that a puppy or young adult would be.

It all started with Chase and Ivy. We bred them twice and then Ivy once again to Joker (Nevedith's Justa Joker, imported from England). The rest of Timbreblue has come down from those three breedings.

Chase (Appraxin Kamikaze) lived his very best years with Bevalee Crawley in Upper Marlboro, MD. The dog who hated the show ring learned to be a freestyle dancer with Bev, achieved a title in dancing at the age of nine, and left us all far too soon at 12 1/2 years old.

Ivy (Ch Appraxin Sensation at Timbreblue) is still ruling Timbreblue.
