We liked the Gemstone litter from Blue and Juliet so much, we decided to repeat the breeding.

The father is our "Blue" or Appraxin Amulet Avant-Garde (view pedigree). The mother is our Timbreblue Loves a Romeo (view pedigree).

On May 26, Juliet delivered 12 healthy puppies -- 8 girls and 4 boys, an entire litter of black and blue puppies. It's unusual to get so many black and blues in a litter -- they are genetically rare because the colors have a "dilute" gene.

Juliet was in labor from about 11am until the following 3:30am ... it was a long night! Juliet is a great mother and is very attentive to her puppies. From her previous litters we are quite certain these puppies will be very outgoing and intelligent. Several of them are going to show homes and we wish them the best. Although all of these puppies are currently spoken for, occasionally someone will drop off the waiting list so we are accepting applications for a back-up waiting list. Appraxin Amulet Avant-Garde "Blue" is known for his sweet and even temperament, excellent health, and beautiful movement. We acquired Blue from reknowned whippet breeder Calvin Perry (Appraxin Whippets) as an adult. Blue loves playing with his puppies and is a very happy, affectionate dog. Blue has tested normal via echocardiogram for heart health, normal via BAER test for hearing, and normal via CERF for eyes.	Timbreblue Loves a Romeo "Juliet" is known for her outgoing, affectionate-to-all sunny personality, big beautiful eyes, and long gorgeous neck. Juliet is one of our third generation of healthy hearts. Juliet tested normal via echocardiogram for heart health and normal via CERF for eyes.
